September - Catholic Committee of Appalachia Annual Meeting 2010. Three bishops concelebrate Mass in Hinton.
June - Father Arthur Bufogle Jr. is appointed pastor of the Churches of
Preston County: St. Sebastian in Kingwood with its mission of St. Edward the
Confessor in Terra Alta and St. Zita Parish in Masontown with residence at
the parish rectory in Kingwood, effective June 23.
June - Father Thomas W. Dagle is appointed pastor of St. Patrick Parish in
Hinton with its mission of St. Mary of the Greenbrier in Alderson and Sacred
Heart Parish in Rainelle with residence at the parish rectory in Hinton,
effective June 23.
