Organizations
| Pastoral Council | The role of the parish pastoral council
is a consultative body through which the Christian faithful can
offer their gifts and their help in fostering pastoral activity.
Through ongoing pastoral planning, the pastoral council will lead
the parish community in the discernment and expression of its parish
mission. Pastoral planning is accomplished by investigating and
considering pastoral matters, and sharing insight and providing
recommendations to the pastor. Council members work with the pastor
in addressing the present and future needs of the parish. |
| Finance Committee | The Parish Finance Council serves as an
advisory body to the pastor and the parish pastoral council in the
administration and stewardship of parish finances, budget, parish
facilities and long-range financial development. Mandated by canon
law, parish finance councils, like parish pastoral councils, are
consultative bodies. |
| Ministry of Praise | The ministry is specially designed for
the sick, disabled, senior citizens and the homebound of the parish.
All sick, disabled, the homebound parishioners and senior citizens
of St. Patrick are eligible to be formal ministers of praise. The
Ministry of Praise is a spiritual ministry in which ministers offer
all of their prayers, joy and sufferings as a sacrifice to God. They
are asked to pray daily for the needs of our diocese and the needs
of St. Patrick parish. |
| The Friar's Club | The Friars Club is comprised of Men of
St. Patrick whose purpose it is to promote Christian fellowship and
is open to all male members of the Parish past Confirmation age, as
well as those of our extended families. |
